Patch 16.6: The Regional Finals Meta
The Regional Finals are played on Patch 16.6, which dropped March 4 with massive Unlock system changes that have reshaped the competitive landscape. The Unlock conditions for key champions have been significantly lowered, making it easier for players to access powerful units without jumping through frustrating hoops.
Yone received heavy nerfs after dominating the meta, with his AD passive dropping from 80/120 to 55/85, AP passive from 140/210 to 110/165, split damage from 320/480 to 250/400, and base attack speed from 0.9 to 0.85. Meanwhile, champions like Lulu, Ashe, Ekko, and Ahri received buffs that could make them key pieces in Regional Finals compositions.
Several traits also saw adjustments. Slayer percentages dropped from 22/33/44 to 20/30/40, Bruiser from 25/45/65 to 25/40/60, and Ionia received a major rework with Path of Blades losing on-hit AD and gaining AP scaling.
